Worst Villains in One Piece (Pre-Grand Line)

Updated: Jun 1, 2020

1. Helmeppo.

Helmeppo is bratty and gaudy. He also has a weird design. I mean, just look at his hair. Helmeppo does not keep his word, lying to Zoro about having him released. He also relies too much on his father’s power, never trying to acquire his own merits.

2. Higuma (Mountain Bandit Leader).

“I’ve killed 56 people” This guy is pretty arrogant for someone with a bounty of only 8 million belli. He has no sense of hierarchy, disrespecting the extremely powerful and notorious Red-Haired Shanks. If he hadn’t been eaten by a sea king, he would have surely easily fallen to the Red Haired pirates for messing with Luffy.

3. Alvida.

Alvida was ugly and fat as heck and a total b-word. She basically enslaved Koby. She is cruel to her own crew, killing one of them with her mace after finding out her ship had dust on it. Naturally, she got one-shot by Luffy. When she gets a makeover later, she becomes super pretty. However, her devil fruit power is kind of lame: the Slip-Slip fruit, which allows her body to not be susceptible to friction.

4. Nezumi.

A marine’s job is to apprehend pirates, not work with them. Yet, marine leader Nezumi collaborates with the despotic Fishman pirate Arlong. He is the lowest of the low, working together with Arlong to rob Nami of her money and thus years of hard work dedicated to saving her village – all for the sake of keeping 30 percent of the treasure. Nezumi is one of the few marines if not the only marine to collaborate with a pirate. Scum of the earth if there ever was one. He also lacks any form of physical strength.

5. Pearl.

Don Krieg’s second in command. He has a weird design, as he has the face of a model, but the body of a sumo wrestler. He exhibits little emotional control, especially when he is wounded. He risks setting the Baratie on fire against the order of his commander Krieg. Also, he beats the living crap out of Sanji when he refuses to fight, shamelessly taking advantage of him.
