Best Dragon Ball Z Villains

Updated: May 25, 2020

1. Frieza.

Frieza is hands down the best villain in Dragon Ball Z. He is the first character that has the power to destroy planets with ease. His transformations are very cool; he has four different forms, his final form having a sick design. He kills Vegeta instantly with a death beam for repeating himself, and makes Krillin levitate and explode using his telekinetic powers just because he felt like it. He is incredibly sadistic and confident. Frieza and his many henchmen threaten to rule the universe.

2. Kid Buu.

Goku’s final foe. The first thing Kid Buu does after making his first appearance is shoot a planet-destroying chi blast at the Earth without hesitation. He has no reservations about methodically destroying the universe planet by planet, and has the fighting instincts of a ruthless animal.

3. Cell.

He has the love for battle of a Saiyan with the sadism of Frieza. He provokes Gohan to see his true power, and he states that his pleasure is to see the faces of innocents contorted with fear. He far surpasses the power of the first level of Super Saiyan. When an angry Krillin punches him, he feels no pain at all. This powerful bio-android is Earth's nightmare.

4. Super Buu.

Super Buu after absorbing Ultimate Gohan is the strongest villain in the Dragon Ball Z series. He is much stronger than his plump predecessor and very ruthless, sending 6 billion chi blasts which kill 6 billion people with the wave of his hand. Although not as animalistic as Kid Buu, he is much less reserved than Fat Buu. Only fused characters are able to defeat Super Buu in Dragon Ball Z.

5. Dabura.

Dabura has an amazing design. Goku claims to the Lord of Lords that Dabura is at Cell’s level. The king of the demon plane, he is very strong. He can spit on people and turn them to stone. However, he is never a real threat due to the fact that Goku and Vegeta have gotten much stronger in the 7-year span between the Cell Saga and the Buu Saga. However, Dabura is still very proud of his strength.
